Parksville Council invites Artists for Legacy Project

Jul 21, 2016 | 11:27 AM

Parksville City Council has made it easier for residents to take part in a legacy project marking Canada’s 150th Birthday in 2017.

At their meeting July 18th, Council voted to spend 10-thousand dollars to purchase the remaining 240 mosaic tiles for an art project.

The City’s Deb Tardiff says the tiles will be provided free of charge to residents.

“We’re going to do it on a first come first serve basis starting on Monday July 25th at eight in the morning here at City Hall. It will be a maximum of four tiles per family,” said Tardiff.
