Bones found in River not believed to be Human

RCMP officers, including dive team members, are investigating bones found in the Nanaimo River.

RCMP Const. Gary O’Brien says the bones, found near the Cedar Road Bridge, are believed to be elk or deer bones, adding tests will be done.

O’Brien says it doesn’t appear the bones are human.
